Nightlife in Retamar | Going out in Retamar

Nightlife in Retamar-El Toyo is very intense during the summer months. Not so much so in the winter as a lot of places close. Some do stay open all year round, but even so, it?s in the summer that you will be able to enjoy El Toyo?s nightlife in all its glory.

The bars and pubs in Retamar-El Toyo are mainly located to the south of the resort. In the Retamar area, near the Promenade of the Paseo del Toyo, you will find a few bars and pubs where you can have a drink or spend the evening; places like Puerto Toyo or Bar de Tapas Toyo.

In the Plaza de Mar there are more bars, like La Marona that offers a great variety of tapas and small portions.

If you are looking for some pubs or bars where to spend the evening in Retamar or El Toyo, there are plenty of options, specially taking into account the size of the resort. In the Retamar area we have a typical wooden pub called La Trastiende as well as the Old Tavern Yamaica, and then we have the more modern pubs like Dreams.

In the El Toyo area, in the plaza Del Mar there are some places that are very popular at the moment, especially during the summer. In these pubs you can listen to live music and monologues, as well as parties that they hold all year round. Other places like Sezen Lounge bar or La Nautica will help you have a great fun night, until the early hours of the morning.
